We are very proud to use our own 100% Superfine Merino wool in all our knitted products.


It’s widely known as the world’s finest wool, with a superior range of natural qualities besides it’s seductive softness. The secret is its exceptionally fine fibers.


Our wool was specially developed for our knitted pieces by Alice Bernardo (Saber Fazer and Ofício). A long process, during several months of researching, sourcing, testing and creating our own Merino wool, to get it just perfect!

Raised in Australia, our superfine yarn is then processed, spun, and dyed in a Portuguese wool manufacture, at Serra da Estrela, a beautiful place traditionally known for it’s wool production. 

Easy to care

Merino fibers have a natural protective outer layer that prevents stains from being absorbed. And because Merino tends not to generate static, it attracts less dust and lint.

We always recommend hand washing your Merino wool piece. Although our wool has a superwash treatment - for resistance purposes - we believe that a little bit of care and attention will insure that your products will last a lifetime.

We recommend the following:
Washing:

. Hand wash using delicate laundry soap with lukewarm water (approx. 30º or less)
. Rinse with cold water.
. Carefully wrap the piece in a towel to remove the excess water.
. Flat dry away from direct sun.

Ironing:

As the fibers are very elastic, it requires less ironing than other fabrics.

. Lay another fabric, between the iron and the merino piece as you iron.
. Always apply a very low temperature.
